Right so random thought on art thieves on DeviantArt in particular:
Whenever you steal something and I think I recognize it, I run the image in Google's Image Search and track down the original source. You can do that. Just open the image in the browser, open a new window with Google Image Search, and drag the image from the one window to the search box in the other one, and boom. Just about every identical-looking image pops up, whether it be from DA, Tumblr, or elsewhere, and it's a pretty simple matter from there to track down the original artist and notify him or her "Hey, so-and-so just stole your artwork."
The terrible thing is that once the theft of a single piece is confirmed, other pieces can be scanned the same way, and the appropriate artists can be notified of the theft. Then the piece can be reported by me ("Permission Issues") and perhaps more importantly, by the original artist (e.g. "My Work Used.")
What's funny is when none of the signatures in a gallery of paintings match. That amuses me.
I don't usually name names, even of thieves, but Luverfalvie is just being blatant about the theft. Signatures don't match, etc. etc. luverfalvie.deviantart.com/gal…
If your work was stolen, please report the "deviation" as "My Work Used."

Art theft
Art theft is completely unacceptable. Don't do it.
The Bracelet
There's a new regime now.
I was making my bed and stumbled across a curled thing on the sheet.
It is a small black ring, 1 cm in diameter, made of rubber, with a tear all the way through it.
My chain mail bracelet from Shave is finally starting to die a little, after all these years.
On the subject of Hellsing and 'Alucard.quot
The character's name is not "Arucard." It cannot be. Why? Because everybody knows that the series takes place in England and (SPOILERS!!!!)
that "DRACULA" spelled backwards is not "Arucard!"
(END SPOILERS)
Likewise British citizens of blatantly British descent do not speak with Japanese accents, even though their voice actors do.
There.
I suppose we could discuss how Hauru of Hauru's Moving Castle is based very loosely on characters from a book that is specifically titled "Howl's Moving Castle" and features a character named Howl, who is a wizard. So that's another peeve.
It's nice to pronounce Japanese names properly, and Japanese word
